In May, 13 students went on a STEER programme to our neighbouring countries, Indonesia and Malaysia! Students visited Lake Toba, a large beautiful natural lake occupying the caldera of a super volcano and also learned about Orangutans conservation in Medan.

In Penang, students had the opportunity to meet with leaders who fought to conserve the heritage of Georgetown and learned from experts who worked together to make Penang the designated city for medical tourism. They also explored the economic and political issues such as Islamic Finance and Decentralised Public Policy Making in Indonesia and Malaysia.
